About Us

COOI Jewellery (pronounced as “KOO-EE”) was founded by Clare W in 2018. It stands for “Clare’s Original Ornamental Ideas”.  The philosophy of the brand is to create quality original jewellery pieces that are simple, elegant, and affordable for day-to-day wear by modern women.

 

Clare was born and raised in Hong Kong.  After a successful career spanning over two decades in a semi-government organization promoting Hong Kong’s international trade, she decided to pursue a different career in jewellery making and design. 

 

Her passion for jewellery drove her to learn more about the jewellery world and to attain the GIA Graduate Gemologist qualification.  She believes that knowledge is fundamentally important in the jewellery industry.  Only with in-depth understanding would she be able to pick the best gemstones and provide her customers with professional advice and personalised selections that lead to an informed decision.
